What it is

Rules and money live in the programs on the chain. The services around them read the chain or run routine steps.

Part	What it does
Programs	They hold the rules, the vaults and the locks.
Indexer and API	They read the chain so pages load fast. If they are wrong, the chain still decides, and Verify shows the mismatch.
Crank	It runs routine steps, such as collecting fees, splitting them and publishing rewards. It cannot change the rules.
Site	It builds transactions for you to review. Your wallet signs them, and the site never holds your keys.
Uploads	Images and metadata are checked and stored on Pari’s servers.

What can go wrong

The API is wrong or down

The chain still decides. Verify compares the two, and a mismatch shows as a failure.

The crank holds collected fees

Its wallet holds collected fees until each split lands, and the Verify page shows that balance. The program counts what the bot records against what it collected. It does not send the shares itself.
