What it is

A preset is the set of rules a launch follows. A dev picks one per launch, and it cannot be changed after launch. Each preset is one fixed DBC config, so changing a value means registering a new config.

When to use it

Pick a preset by how much protection you want at the start:
  • Light suits devs who want fast trading. Protection is shorter and the caps are higher.
  • Standard is the default.
  • Strict has the longest window and the lowest caps. The $PARI token launches on Strict.

Numbers and limits

How to read the table:
  • Sniper fee. The fee a buyer pays at the start, and how long it takes to fall to the 1% base fee. It falls a little every second.
  • Max wallet. The most one wallet may hold during the window, as a share of total supply. The dev’s locked vault is exempt.
  • Buys per slot. The most that can be bought in one slot, as a share of total supply.
  • Dev launch buy cap. The most the dev can buy at launch. These tokens stay locked until the unlock time.
  • Holder window. The decay time plus 5 minutes. See Fees.
These are the starting values. They may change before the mainnet launch.

Rules every preset shares

  • Migration. About US$ 45k market cap.
  • Name lock. For 6 hours after a launch, no other launch may use the same name or ticker. Lookalike letters, accents and digits are compared after normalization.
  • Sells. The caps limit buys, not sells. A sell never pays more than the current fee.
  • Token accounts only. During the window, tokens can only move to associated token accounts (ATA).
  • Blocklist. During the window, the hook refuses any transaction that has an instruction from a program on the blocklist, sells included. After the window, every program can trade. Only the admin (the multisig) can add or remove programs, and the list is public on Verify. It holds up to 64 programs.
  • Bundles. Wallets that buy in the same slot hit the per-slot cap and the max wallet, and they pay the opening fee. The token page flags wallets funded by the creator or by a common source.
  • The hook ends at the curve. The hook is revoked on the buy that completes the curve. After that, the token trades without it.

Step by step

1

Compare the table

Look at the fee time, the max wallet and the dev buy cap.
2

Pick one at launch

The site opens on Standard. The SDK and the CLI take the name of the preset.
3

Check it on Review

You cannot change it after launch.

What can go wrong

The launch is refused.
If a third party sends tokens to a creator’s locked-buy account during the window, the creator cannot use them.
The rules limit each wallet and each slot. They cannot prove who controls a wallet.
