What it is

What changed in the SDK, the CLI and the REST API, and what can break.

When to use it

Read it before you upgrade. Every breaking change is listed here with what to do about it.

Numbers and limits

The SDK and the CLI share one version number and follow semantic versioning.
  • Before 1.0.0: a minor version (0.1 to 0.2) can break your code. A patch version (0.1.0 to 0.1.1) never does.
  • From 1.0.0: only a major version can break your code.
The REST API keeps its version in the path, such as /v1. Inside a version, fields can be added. A field is not removed or renamed without a new version.

Versions

0.1.0

First version. It is not on npm yet.
  • SDK: PariClient for launch, trade, stake and read. Every method returns unsigned work.
  • CLI: pari, which simulates every write unless you pass --send.
  • Both name the chain: chain in the SDK, --chain in the CLI. The default is solana.
  • REST API: /v1 routes for tokens, trades and wallet positions.
