# Fees

> Who receives what on the curve and after migration, and the holder window.

## What it is

Every trade pays a fee. The fee is split between Meteora, the creator, the Pari treasury, the integrator, the token's holders and Pari stakers.

## When it applies

* **On the curve:** 1% per trade while the token is on the bonding curve.
* **After migration:** 0.5% per trade in the DAMM v2 pool.
* **At the start of a launch:** a higher sniper fee applies first. It falls from 99% to 1%, and the preset sets how long that takes. See [Launch rules and presets](https://docs.pariprotocol.xyz/protocol/presets.md).

## Who gets what

All percentages are shares of trade volume, after the sniper-fee period.

| Share | On the curve | After migration | Paid in |
| - | - | - | - |
| Meteora (protocol fee) | 0.20% | 0.10% | SOL, kept by Meteora |
| Creator | 0.10% | 0.05% | SOL |
| Pari treasury | 0.20% | 0.10% | SOL |
| Integrator | 0.10% | 0.05% | SOL. Goes to the treasury when no integrator is registered |
| Holders of the token | 0.20% | 0.10% | SOL |
| Pari stakers | 0.20% | 0.10% | SOL |
| **Total** | **1.00%** | **0.50%** | |

Meteora takes 20% of every trade fee. The other 80% is the partner share, and the rows below Meteora divide it.

## The holder window

During the holder window, the whole partner share goes to that token's holders. The creator, the integrator, the treasury and stakers receive nothing in this period.

* The window is the preset's decay time plus 5 minutes.
* This is how sniper fees reach holders. Every payment is shown as a receipt. Meteora keeps its 20% of those fees too.
* After the window, the split in the table applies.

## How it is paid

**1. Fees accrue in SOL**

The operator's bot collects them and sends each share. Every split is public on the [Verify](https://pariprotocol.xyz/verify) page.

**2. Holders claim on the site**

Holders' SOL waits in each token's vault until they take it on the site.

**3. Stakers receive over time**

Stakers receive the stakers' share in SOL, released over time. There is no emission.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A token paired with a stock pays in that stock.

## What can change

> [accordion] Can the split of my token change?
>
> No. The token record stores the split it launched with, for both stages. A later change by Pari applies to new launches only.

> [accordion] Will the pool fee always be 0.5%?
>
> Pari does not promise that. 0.5% is the fee set when the pool is created. A DAMM v2 pool operator can change a pool's fee later, up to 10%.

> [accordion] When does a fee count as inside the holder window?
>
> The split goes by when a fee is collected, not when the trade happened. The crank collects during the window and once more just before it ends.

> [accordion] Does Pari pay for a DexScreener profile?
>
> When a token migrates, Pari pays for its DexScreener enhanced token profile (about US\$ 299). This comes from the Pari treasury and is not a slice of the fee. Only migrated tokens that stay active qualify, within a monthly cap.
